Faculty/Staff

Our faculty and staff are dedicated to equipping students with the latest information, techniques, and skills on the state-of-the-art equipment and software that this rapidly-changing industry demands. Our instructors are working professionals who are in tune with the heart and soul of the industry. In addition to being educators, they serve as musical artists, consultants, recording and live sound engineers, owning/operating recording studios and sound companies, writing for technical publications and books, serving on industry boards, appearing as guest clinicians and panelists, and involvement with artist development and promotion.

Facilities/Equipment

We have two recording studios devoted to our program. Studio A, completed in 2008, is an amazing facility and is full of the latest high-end equipment including an SSL console, a Pro Tools HDX recording workstation, an Otari MX80 multi-track recorder, Waves Diamond plug-in bundle, and an assortment of world-class outboard gear. In addition, Studio B opened in the spring of 2010. It is outfitted with state-of-the-art items including an AVID ICON D-Command ES console powering a Pro Tools HDX system, and a full complement of amazing preamps, outboard processors, and plug-ins. We have partnered with plug-in manufacturers, such as McDSP and Izotope to provide our students the oportunity to work with their full line of high-end audio processing plug-ins.
