An Access Card is your:

- library card
- printer card
- transit pass
- discount card.
For library purposes, an Access Card is required to check out books and other library material. It is also required to use the print stations.
An Access Card is no longer required for off-campus access to the databases.
For more information, see the District's Student Access Card info page.
Access Cards are issued at the following locations on the main campus:
- Learning Resource Center
- Info Desk in the Administration Building
- Campus Life Center in the Cafeteria (only open three weeks before and after the beginning of the semester)
Natomas Students: Access Cards are available at the Main Office of the Natomas Center.
If your card is lost or stolen:
Each student will be issued one (1) Student Access Card free of charge each Academic Year. There is no charge for the replacement of a damaged UTP sticker IF the remnants of your damaged sticker are attached to your Access card. Otherwise, the following charges will apply:

If your card or sticker is damaged:
Damaged cards or damaged stickers will be replaced free of charge. Please bring the damaged card with sticker or the damaged sticker to a location where cards are issued.

52 titles have been identified for circulation, beginning with the January 2006 issue. How this works:
1) The most current issue, displayed in the red binder in the Periodicals Room, cannot be checked out.
2) You can easily identify circulating magazines by their "circulating" sticker.
3) The loan period is seven-days (one week) on up to five at a time; no renewals are permitted.
4) Check-out is at the Circulation Desk.
As with all library materials, overdue fines and lost fees apply.
Lost items will be charged at their current price plus a $10 non-refundable processsing fee.
A student may opt to purchase the replacement copy on their own and pay only the processing fee.
Replacement copies purchased by the student must be the exact edition and format as the lost item.
Lost magazines will be charged late fees up to $5.00 (at $.50 per day) plus a $5.00 replacement fee.
Items returned in damaged and/or unusable condition will be charged as a lost item.
